Last year, I was able to attend the great Blogging While Brown 2011 conference in Los Angles. I had a great time and got to connect with so many other writers of color. While I was out there I was also honored to win 2011 Black Weblog Award for Best Culture Blog. This year I was asked to be a speaker at the 2012 conference in Philadelphia! I will be speaking on the panel “The Brothers of Blogging”. The conference is going to be on June 2-4. It definitely is a conference I suggest you make it out to not only to see me but see a plethora of other great writers and bloggers.
