President Barack Obama comments on gay marriage have started a firestorm of people upset at him like he slapped their mama. The more and more I thought about it I began to think how ridiculous that so many people were getting so emotional about this from a governmental sense. Barack Obama just says he accepts it not that he is going to men get married to each other. He didn’t say your religion or personal feelings should condone it but that he feels they should have governmental rights. It’s funny because there are so many other things going on in 
America that we need to work on and people are worried about gay people getting married? Full disclosure I don’t understand homosexuality but is it my place to understand it?
Many people are riding hard with their idea of the president said even though they won’t even stand up for things happening around them every day. I look at life as a business and a game. Before I take a stance on something I first survey how it will effect my bottom line (my life). Gay marriage doesn’t effect MY bottom line at all. Yes, gay marriage 0% effects my life. My personal feelings on homosexuality have nothing to do with a legal barring of their civil union and rights.
People are all up in arms so much over Barack Obama and the gay marriage thing I thought about all the things that people aren’t too vocal about but effect their bottom line. So in vain of Jimmy McMillan’s “The Rents Too Damn High moniker I will be giving you somethings you need to be thinking about instead of worrying about if gay people can get married or not.
Brothas and sistas are being killed every day in cities all over this country but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
We have an economy we need to get on track and figure out ways to create more jobs but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
Mother nature is being stressed by our consumption of fuel and pollution but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
The education in this country is damn near 2nd world rate with many kids not even getting a sufficient education to attain skills to make a livelihood as an adult but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
Your wife/husband and kids barely even like YOU because you don’t build with your own family but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
You are letting your children be raised by TV and pop culture and they aren’t even learning about who they are 
and where they come from but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
You don’t have sufficient health care and have sky-high insurance rates but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
There are people who feel that a young man Trayvon Martin’s life means nothing which is a reflection for the lack of respect for black life but you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
And did I mention the rent is too damn high!!! But you know what that is alright because gay marriage is the thing you really are taking a stand on.
Are you standing for something or just merely just want to stand?

For one thing gays maryine another DOES NOT OR WILL IT EVER WORRY ME! rom h throne in heaven God sees them, you and me nd everything being done great or sinful. It’s His job to decide where anyone of us will eternally reside. NOT MINE! I just state and I ill always take ino account anything that I or anyone in authority over me and my children’s lives and the President of teh United States has that authority, therefore my thoughts, opinion, etc wiill be to stick with Biblical records and word – no man! But naw-you wrong if you think thier sexual orintation will ever worry me! NEVER! THey ca connet and ride each othr until Jesus lands back on this earth its thier business. But that doesn’tmean that thier wicked ways should allow for a President to allow thier acts to be performed in a religious ceremony to place one another in a matrimony against Gods own words. Would it be fair to a day one old newborn to be thrown from a hospital window if a mother doesn’t want it? So why should it b fair for ppl that are against Obama’s ruling to be so wrong and wicked? When Obama says everyone should have healthcare, a law was passed giving healthcare, when Obama says he’s okay with gay marriage, it persuades minds! Look, many of you are already rationalizing accepting gay marriage since Obama voiced his approval. So we Christians are to abandon Gods word and order to serve a political party? This is insane! This is what our ancestors died for? We prayed to God to deliver us from bondage only to now give into a new bondage. God is very important and we should have issue with those calling themselves Christians, but sell unChristian behavior to us as if it’s God sent! And I know we can be concerned with multiple issues, we are not simple-minded. You can ignore the devil sneak attacks, I can’t, not even when I’m the one F’ing up!
No, if your ancestors fought for a Christian cause, then they probably died for a lot stupider shit than letting gays get married. (e.g. any of the Crusades.)
Also, keep in mind that it wasn’t too long ago that “Christians” used the Bible as justification for oppressing black people into slavery. Unless you are in the bottom 10% of the IQ bracket or you have some kind of ass-backwards idea of “Christianity” that makes it “acceptable” to oppress certain people’s lifestyles that, let me remind you, they were BORN INTO, then I don’t understand how you can possibly oppose gay marriage. This shouldn’t even be an issue in this country. However, 50 years from now, I’ll be proud that I was on the right side of history in this so-called debate, and your kids will (or should if you don’t brainwash them) be deeply ashamed of your bigoted views.
If you don’t want gay people to get married then don’t marry a gay person. It does not affect you at all. It makes no sense to me. Leave them alone!
Gay marriage is no bigger sin then you lying, some one else having sex before marriage, stealing, killling, and so on. It is a sin bottom line but I feel like as Christians we put too much on other people’s life style, we don’t take the time to get to know them, love up on them, like we are suppose too and so quick to judge! And yes there are so many other things to be worried about then peoples personal preference. So many other things we need to be doing in our community… so Obama changed his mind you don’t have to. You don’t have to vote for him either if it really bothers you that much but I get what this post is saying. We have to take a stand not just on this issue but so many others which affect us more than someone else’s lifestyle. They have to be accountable for their decisions when they go before God…
